However, at times even parents can go astray and forget the fact that every child has a different capacity. The tutelage of international schools in India, provide them exposure to various fields. It is for them and the parents to decide what their forte is. But, parents can get affected by the rat race around and force children to perform on all fronts. The answer to these questions is crucial in the overall development and wellbeing of your child. So, make sure you level out the stress and enjoyment in such a way that your child is set on the right path to become someone, but can retain his childhood. Is your child good at studies? In India specially, it is measured by the school scorecard of a child, but i think it should not ideally be. There are lot more things that can make you judge aptitude of your child. On a foremost note, make sure that you do not expect your child to be a book worm as there are a few students who despite dedicating a few hours in studying can score really well. it is a common observation that once a guardian enrolls his child at an International schools India, there are certain expectations that comes along with it. There’s nothing wrong it to set expectations from your child, when you have enrolled him at an International schools in India of repute, but this also does not that you will expect him to do extra ordinary things. No matter which school in India you have enrolled your child in every student has got his own caliber so there’s no point in compelling a child to do something. It has been seen that those children who are pressurized to score well end up actually scoring less, in comparison to their counterparts. So, instead of compelling your child to study 18 hours a day, bring-in changes in your strategies and i am sure your child will be able to do well in his academics. Ask him to schedule a time table for himself and follow it religiously and ask him to adhere to the time table that he has made for himself. This way, even if he study say for example two hours in one go concentrating on his studies, things will become easier for him and he will begin love studying. |
